Wherever
you live, there are many different ways to get to Macquarie University. The
most common methods of transport are train and bus services, however students
may drive too! Macquarie University has its own train station too, commonly
known as ‘Macquarie University train station’, so it gives the flexibility for
students to travel by train services with ease. Furthermore, bus services are
also available, as it travels through the university on Balaclava Road, and
some buses stop directly in front of the Macquarie University. Suppose if you
travel by bus from the West, the easiest way to get to University is by
catching the ‘611’ bus, which stops at Waterloo road, and runs through the Blacktown
networks.
You
may be thinking about all these travel methods, but what about the costs? Don’t
worry, students studying at Macquarie University are eligible to get an opal
concession card, made to make your trip cheaper. Every year, students may need
to fill in a declaration form, in order to keep their concession card active. This
keeps students travel for almost half of the normal fare, and allows students
to remain active in their traveling options to Macquarie University.
